The Other House

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the other hotel. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the stunning decor that adorned the premises. Not only that, but the range of facilities they offer truly impressed me. Whether it was a peaceful workspace or a setting for intimate business discussions, their rooms catered to every need.

Indulge me in calling myself a bit boujee, but I've developed a bit of a penchant for hotels with top-notch gym and spa facilities during my travels. This hotel did not disappoint in that regard, as they had a gym and spa that perfectly met my requirements.

The staff at the hotel were an absolute delight – friendly, attentive, and always up for a pleasant conversation. They truly enhanced the overall experience.

Regarding my room, it was splendid overall, albeit a tad on the smaller side. Yet, it had everything I needed, essentially resembling a cozy mini apartment. I felt at home amidst its comforts.

While there were many aspects that I would wholeheartedly endorse, there were a couple of things that didn't quite meet my expectations. The culinary offerings, unfortunately, fell short. I vividly recall ordering a recommended Caesar salad with salmon on the first day. The taste was decent, but the presentation left much to be desired. The following morning, I opted for a full English breakfast. While the presentation was impeccable, my eggs and toast arrived cold, which was disappointing. That evening, I decided to venture out to a different restaurant for a birthday celebration, and there I was treated to a genuinely sumptuous Caesar salad that could put a smile on anyone's face.

Moreover, it's important to mention that the hotel seems to apply a service charge for nearly everything they offer. This did come across as a bit excessive to me. Fortunately, the area is teeming with alternative dining options, many of which offer heartier and more satisfying meals.

Despite these minor setbacks, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel/apartment for both brief getaways and extended stays. It's a haven of comfort, luxury, and convenience that shouldn't be missed.
